Ingredients:

  • Filo pastry sheets: 8
  • Unsalted butter, melted: 200g
  • Pistachios, crushed: 250g
  • Cinnamon: 1 tsp
  • Honey: 200g
  • Water: 100ml
  • Sugar: 2 tbsp
  • Vanilla essence: 1 tsp

Instructions:

  1. Brush filo sheets with melted butter. Layer four in a dish.
  2. Mix pistachios with cinnamon and sprinkle over. Layer the remaining sheets.
  3. Cut into squares. Bake at 180°C for 30 minutes.
  4. Heat honey, water, sugar, and vanilla until sugar dissolves. Pour over hot baklava.
